AI is a computer helper that understands words and creates things — answers, lessons, emails, ideas — almost like a fast, well-read assistant you can talk to. It is not alive, it is not always right, and it does not replace you.

• AI Twin — an AI that knows you and your work, so it helps like a copy of you.
• Superagents / AI workforce — teams of AI helpers handling bigger jobs.

You stay the boss. AI does the heavy lifting; you make the calls.

The fastest way to believe in AI is to let it save you time today. Pick just one of these and try it this week:

• Lesson prep: "Make a 20-minute lesson plan on [topic] for [grade]."
• Parent emails: "Write a warm, short email to a parent about [situation]."
• Differentiation: "Rewrite this paragraph at a 3rd-grade level and a 6th-grade level."
• Practice + quizzes: "Make 10 practice questions on [topic] with an answer key."

Always read and tweak what it gives you — you're the expert; AI is the rough draft.

Talking to AI is a skill — and it's easy. Better instructions give better results. Three simple moves:

• Be clear — say exactly what you want.
• Give context — who it's for and why.
• Give it a role — tell it who to be.

The simple recipe: Role + Task + Details + Format.

Using AI well means using it responsibly. A few simple rules keep you and your students safe:

• Keep humans in charge — AI drafts, you decide. Check facts before you use them.
• Protect privacy — never paste students' private details into AI tools.
• Protect thinking — use AI to help students think, not to think for them.
• Be honest — model good, ethical use.

Golden rule: AI is the assistant. You are the teacher.

You don't need to master everything — you need a habit. Pick one AI task you'll do every week. That's it. Small and steady wins.

• This week: choose one win from Lesson 2 and actually use it.
• Build the habit: repeat that same task weekly until it feels automatic.
